On May 24, 2019, the final meeting of the project “On the job Training in Water Evaluation and Planning (WEAP) System” was held at Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture, National Environment Agency, Georgian Amelioration, United Water Supply Company of Georgia LLC, Global Water Partnership-Georgia, Regional Environmental Centre for the Caucasus (RECC), G4G Team and representatives of the organization Environment and Development and other stakeholders.
The meeting was opened by the Chief of Water Unit of Department of Environment and Climate Change of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture – Mrs. Marina Makarova and G4G program Chief of Party – Mrs. Nato Beruashvil.
The presentation of implemented activities within the project were presented during the meeting, among other, the information related to held on-job-training and developed WEAP learning materials.
The meeting was finalized with the presentation and discussion of the water allocation plan of Tedzami river basin developed within the project.
