  • Piloting water allocation modeling using WEAP in the Aragvi River Basin

    Period of Implementation: January, 2017 - September, 2017 Donor: USAID Project Governing for Growth (G4G) in Georgia / Deloitte Consulting Overseas Projects LLC Main objectives of the grant were: development of water allocation scenarios for the Aragvi River Basin in WEAP, interaction and coordination with MoEPA and other stakeholders to ensure agreement on model scenarios and capacity building within GoG in WEAP modeling. Results of the grant are: WEAP water allocation scenarios for the Aragvi River Basin agreed with MoEPA and other stakeholders through workshops and strengthened capacity of GoG beneficiaries in WEAP modeling.
